Lena's Room

The turquoise is going for multiple shade of light and dark purple! Within reason this room will be completely designed by her.

Seriously, she now has 17 feet by 11.5 feet with a mondo closet and "craft" area.

Tis a flesh wound!

Those nails strips that hold the carpet in place can do quite a number :-)

The Kitchen and Living Room

We have granite countertops with blue sparkles in it with fairly new hardware and a deep sink.

Cabinets need some cleaning but they will do.

Got Bamboo - need a Panda Bear!

According to Lena since we have bamboo in the back yard we now have to get a Panda Bear becuase that is what they eat!

Our Stuff arrived!

Got gas but busted water pipe :-(

So we got our propane delivery, went to turn the water back on so we could test the heat then heard the drip drip drip. Some time between Oct and yesterday there must bave been some water that froze in the heating pipe in the upstairs bathroom which broke it open.

Grand scheme, this could have been 100 times worse! But, we will be replacing so sheet rock in the downstairs bathroom as well.

ok, maybe it was just the stairs but after taking up the carpet and padding we found nice wood stairs! A bit on sanding and some poly and these will clean up quite nicely!

Our Bedroom

So there was water damage a few years back when the room had a leak in it. The roof got replaced but unfortunately they didn't take the time to properly clean up the inside of the house.

After pulling up the nasty ass carpet and padding we came across more yuk!

Since I really disliked the cedar wood on only half the bedroom that needed to come off the wall where I began to find more water marks and bits of mold & mildew.
